H-F senior citizens coffee returns Oct. 27

Homewood-Flossmoor High School invites senior citizens in District 233 to a complimentary coffee and tour of the South Building on Thursday, Oct. 27.

The program will begin at 9 a.m. with administrators giving an overview of the high school’s programs. Guests will be entertained by student musicians, and can take an optional tour of the building.  Students in the H-F Culinary Program will offer pastries they created, as well as coffee and juice.

Guests 62 and older are asked to register for the event by Monday, Oct. 24, either by email at [email protected] or by calling 708-335-5581. Access to the school is from the Kedzie Avenue entrance.

The senior coffee is an annual showcase, but was put on hold for several years due to the pandemic. This is one of the events that is part of the Golden Card Club, a program offering senior citizens free admission to H-F theater, musical and athletic events. To learn more about the Golden Card Club go to hfhighschool.org or call 708-799-3000.
