The Chicago Southland International Film Festival at Governors State University will present “Mustang Saviors,” a film by David Glossberg, on Friday, Oct 14.
The movie will be a special screening in F1622 Amphitheater at 7:45 p.m. Glossberg, of Chicago, will be available for a question-and-answer session after the film is aired. Tickets are $10.
The movie tells the story of wild mustang horses taken straight off the range and paired with veterans at Braveheart Ranch in Harvard, Illinois. The program offers veterans a unique healing experience, one that may reduce veteran suicides through the healing power of the horse.
