College Night at H-F gives area high school students access to college representatives

Representatives from nearly 200 colleges and universities from across the country will be at Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School for the annual College Night on Monday, Oct. 17, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the school’s North Building Fieldhouse.

The program is open to area high school students and parents who can get information from college representatives about their institutions and answer questions regarding admissions, programs of study, financial aid, housing, athletics and more.

All levels of students — from freshmen to seniors — are encouraged to attend. Students who are planning to attend are encouraged to register at www.StriveFair.com, so they can easily provide their information to colleges and universities that they are interested in at the event.

Once registered, a QR code will be provided on the day of the event that includes the student’s contact information. College representatives then will be able to scan the QR code to better communicate and send information about their institution in the weeks to come.
