Glenwood team takes 1st in Homewood Chili Cook-off

Brian Reichard of Glenwood and his mother, Carol Reichard, took first place in the annual Homewood Fall Fest Chili Cook-off. Diedre Harrison took second place, Emalee Kay took third, and Terrance Boone was recognized for best decorated table. Reichard said he makes his chili with beef and veal, eight kinds of pepper, spices and brown sugar. He said this was the first time he's entered the Chili Cook-off. "I've wanted to do it for 15 years, but I always worked Saturday morning so I could never do it."
