Homewood’s annual Fall Fest and Chili Cook-off will offer live music, autumn food and traditional family activities on Martin Avenue on Saturday, Sept. 24.

The Chili Cook-off always attracts the area’s most talented chili artists to compete for the honor of being Homewood’s Top Chef.

A panel of judges will rank the entries, but there’s also a People’s Choice award. Chili afficionados typically form a long line waiting to sample the entries so they can cast their votes.

The village will accept $5 donations at the gate. Proceeds this year will go to the Homewood Arts Council.
