Provided News

The Governors State University Foundation is hosting “Sculpture, Wine & Dine,” a fundraiser for the Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park, on Saturday, Sept. 10, featuring a farm-to-table dinner.

The sculpture park is a collection of 32 master works of large-scale sculpture on 100 acres of prairie landscape that make up the campus of Governors State University in University Park. It was recently voted Best Sculpture Park 2021 in a USA Today readers’ poll.

The day’s event opens at 4 p.m. with guided tours by golf cart, or self-guided walking tours, followed by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 5 p.m. At 6 p.m., the Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park Board will dedicate “Stargazing with Contrails” by Terrance Karpowicz, and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. in the park.
