NATURE PHOTO CONTEST – Submit your best nature photo taken at Homewood Izaak Walton Preserve for a chance to have it included in the preserve’s 2023 calendar. Entrants can submit photos of weather, landscape, birds, dogs and other animals, and unidentifiable people. The contest closes at midnight Sept. 6.
YOUTH HOCKEY LEAGUE – Registration is now open for the 2022-23 HF Vikings Youth Hockey League, in four age groups. Off-ice participation will be at H-F Racquet & Fitness Club, while on-ice participation will be at Morgan Park Sports Center and H-F Ice Arena. Register at hfparks.com.
