Special event welcomes the start of a new school year

Hundreds of people gathered at Flossmoor Park on Friday, Aug. 19, for a special Back to School Night party that kicked off at 6 p.m. with treats for everyone and games for kids.

By 7 p.m. families gathered on the lawn with blankets and chairs for a viewing at dusk of the movie "The Bad Guys" shown on a huge inflatable screen.

The event was sponsored by Flossmoor District 161 and the Village of Flossmoor.
