Infant Jesus of Prague School in Flossmoor invites the community to its Block Party serving up food, music and activities.
The event opens at 4 p.m. with a Catholic mass that will be said on the parish parking lot, Flossmoor Road at Douglas Avenue. That’s followed by the Block Party from 5 to 10 p.m., also on the parish grounds.
Before the event, the parish is sponsoring several $100 raffle drawings on Aug. 27 and Sept. 3, and for a gas grill and tool set on Sept. 10. A grand prize split-the-pot drawing will be conducted at the block party. Tickets are available now at the school or parish office and will also be available at the event.
