Applications being accepted to fill PSC board vacancy

Residents of Prairie State College District 515 are invited to apply to fill a vacancy on the board following the resignation of Christopher Baikauskas.

The person chosen for the position will serve out the rest of Baikauskas’ term until the next school board election on April 4, 2023. Candidates will be eligible to run for a six-year term in the April election.

Baikauskas was first elected to the board in 2017. He stepped down so he could focus his attention on his new position as interim principal at Chicago Heights Middle School.

“We appreciate the tremendous work that Chris Baikauskas has contributed to the PSC board and his exceptional years of service,” said Dr. Ronald J. White, chairman of the board.
