You Matter 2 Back to school bash
Today from 1 to 3 p.m. at Flossmoor Community House, 847 Hutchison Road in Flossmoor. Kids can receive free backpacks filled with school supplies, pizza courtesy of Domino’s, face painting, cotton candy, 360 Photo Booth and more! Child(ren) must be present to receive school supplies. All supplies will go on a first come, first serve basis, early arrival is suggested.
Haas mural tour
Flossmoor Veterans’ Memorial Inc. (FVM) will sponsor a walking tour of Homewood’s Richard Haas mural collection from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today. The tour will launch from Martin Square at the corner of Martin Avenue and Ridge Road and will conclude at the Homewood Veterans’ Memorial.
