Domestic dispute reported at Foxx home

Flossmoor police were called to the home of Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx about 10 p.m. on June 4 when her husband Kelley said he wanted to report a domestic dispute.

The couple met police outside their home. Police took separate statements from Kim and Kelley.

Kelley told police his wife became upset by a Facebook post about something he’d done. Kim told police she asked her husband to leave. The police report states Kelley told officers when he refused to leave Kim became physical and Kelley alleged that Kim slapped him on the cheek. Police reported no visible mark on Kelley’s cheek. Kim denied to police that she struck Kelley.

One of the couple’s children was at home, but told police she didn’t see anything.

The couple told police they had been married more than 20 years and they have never been physical against each other. No charges were filed, police said.
