The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for today and tomorrow. Heat indexes could reach heat index from 105 to 109 degrees.

Homewood trustees meet tonight
The Homewood Board of Trustees meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, in the village hall board room, 2020 Chestnut Road. The agenda can be found at homesweethomewood.com. Trustees will consider whether to take the next step in redeveloping the village hall parking lot. A developer is interested in constructing a five-story residential building there.
