Marian Catholic graduates students from Homewood, Flossmoor

Marian Catholic High School has announced its Homewood and Flossmoor graduates in the Class of 2022.

During the 59th graduation ceremony on May 16, Principal Steve Tortorello, a Class of 2004 graduate, urged graduates to “cherish the feeling” of their accomplishments.  

Graduates from Flossmoor are Christopher Ormsby and Kennedy Washington.

Graduates from Homewood are Alexander Bertucci, Nina (Nico) Calkins, Shiya (Sophia) Gong, Cole Palmore and Amaiya Torian.

The 210 members of the Class of 2022 will attend 87 different colleges in 23 states, Washington D.C., and Canada, including Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, Washington University-St. Louis, the University of Illinois, Indiana University, Purdue University, Michigan State, Ohio State, DePaul, Loyola, Spelman College, Howard University and the School of the Art Institute in Chicago. Graduates received more than $12 million in academic scholarships.
