Flossmoor Service League house walk on Wednesday to raise money for south suburban charities

The House Walk is back. After a pandemic-forced hiatus, the Flossmoor Service League will return this year.

FSL is providing an opportunity to visit three homes in Flossmoor, including a 1967 ranch home with views of Flossmoor Golf Course; a 1957 mid-century modern home designed by renowned architect Bertrand Goldberg; and a summer cottage pool house retreat built in 1941 and converted to a single family home in the late 1940s.

The tours will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18.

Tickets are $25 and are available at Gypsy Fix at 1050 Sterling Ave. in Flossmoor, UpsaDaisy Boutique at 18100 Martin Ave. in Homewood and Art 4 Soul at 18135 Harwood Ave. in Homewood or at flossmoorserviceleague.org.

Raffle tickets are also available for a variety of themed baskets.

Shopping on Wednesday also will make a difference. Gypsy Fix, UpsaDaisy Boutique and Art 4 Soul plan to donate 15% of their sales that day to FSL.
