The Homewood Board of Trustees has no action items on the agenda for its meeting Tuesday, May 10, other than approving the payment of bills, but there will be two proclamations and three oaths of office administered.
Ryan Bischoff and Samantha Nissen will be sworn in as police officers. Martin Garcia will be sworn in as a firefighter/paramedic.
Mayor Richard Hofeld will present proclamations recognizing Von Mansfield on his retirement as superintendent of Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School District 233 and declaring the week of May 15-21 as Public Works Week in the village of Homewood.
