STORY TIME IN THE PARK – Now that the weather is warming up, it’s a great time to bring kids up to age 7 to Storytime with Miss Angela from Homewood Library. Register first and then meet up at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Irwin Park.
VIADUCT CLOSED TUESDAY – The viaduct on Flossmoor Road at Sterling Avenue will be closed from about 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday for routine patch work and cleaning. During this time, motorists are encouraged to use 183rd Street to the north or Vollmer Road to the south.
