STUDENT ICE CREAM SOCIAL – Homewood School District 153’s PTA, PMA and Foundation are teaming up to host an Ice Cream Social from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at Homewood Dairy Queen. Each child will get a free ice cream. Register at the district website.
VOLUNTEER FOR PARK PRIDE – The park district is in need of volunteers for Park Pride Day on Saturday from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Help prepare community parks for the summer season. No need to sign up, just show up at your neighborhood park. The weather looks good for Saturday for being out in the parks. Volunteers get a lunch at Irwin Center at the end of the event.
