BASEBALL OPENING DAY – Flossmoor and Homewood officially kick off their baseball and softball seasons with festivities on Saturday.
Flossmoor Baseball & Softball opening day 2022 starts with a parade stepping off at 9:30 a.m., proceeding down Flossmoor Road from Brassie Avenue to Bronco Field. Opening Day Ceremonies begin at 10:15 a.m., followed by games all day long at Flossmoor Park.
The 2022 season of Homewood Baseball & Softball begins with the traditional opening day parade. More than 600 players will step off at 11 a.m. from Irwin Park and walk down Ridge Road to Izaak Walton Nature Preserve, where many will play opening day games.
