TENNIS, EVERYONE! - Tennis nets are now up and ready for play at H-F Park District outdoor courts including Flossmoor Park, Flossmoor Hills Park, Orchard Park, Indian Trails Park, Lions Club Park and Heather Hill Park. Courts are free and open to the public.

PRINCE CHARMING DANCE - Space is still available at the Prince Charming Dance on Friday, March 25, at H-F Sports Complex. Moms, grandmothers, aunts and special ladies can escort their prince charmings ages 3 to 12 for a night of dancing, games and snacks. Register online . . .

Monday, July 4

  • Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Department kids parade, starting at 10 a.m. at Parker Junior High, ending in downtown Flossmoor.
  • Homewood 4th of July parade, staring at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church parking lot, 17951 Dixie Highway, south to Ridge Road, then east to Izaak Walton Nature Preserve, where there will be a community picnic.
