COOKIE BOXES – In addition to buying from your local troop, you can now satisfy your sweet tooth by getting Girl Scouts cookies at Homewood Science Center. Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana now sells cookies at HSC from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
PLAN TO PLAY BALL – Registration is now open for the 2022 spring season of Homewood baseball, softball and T-ball. Games are played at Izaak Walton Nature Preserve. Opening day is April 23. Find registration online.
SWEETHEART DANCE – Start planning for the Sweetheart Dance, when dads, grandfathers, uncles and mentors can escort their little girl to a special evening. Enjoy games, snacks and dancing at H-F Sports Complex. 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18. Register with H-F Park District.
