Woman dies after midday 3-car crash on Halsted St.

An 81-year-old woman died from injuries she sustained in a vehicle crash Thursday on Halsted Street, according to Homewood Police.

At about 1:45 p.m. on Jan. 27, first responders arrived on the scene of a traffic crash in the 17600 block of Halsted Street, including Homewood police and fire departments, and Glenwood Fire Department.

Homewood Police said three vehicles were involved in the crash: a tan colored Toyota, a blue Chevrolet, and a black Nissan.

The driver of the Chevrolet was treated for her injuries at the scene and transported to Advocate South Suburban Hospital, where . . .
