LONG LIFE NOODLES & DUMPLINGS – Celebrate Chinese New Year with a special take-home kit from Flossmoor Library. Sponsored by Flossmoor Community Relations Commission, the grab-and-go gift includes Long Life noodles and dumplings donated by Siam Thai in Flossmoor, a craft representing the Year of the Tiger, and more. BIRDS, FISH & FROGS – Get to know the Amazon Rainforest and the amazing animal species that call it home at STEM Saturday, presented by Homewood Science Center. Longtime Shedd Aquarium worker and current HSC employee Jordan Lyznicki presents Animals of the Amazon, where you can also design and craft your own species of bird, fish or frog. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

S’MORES & HOT CHOCOLATE – H-F Park District hosts S’mores Skate on Saturday at the Flossmoor Ice Rinks at Flossmoor Park. Wiley’s will be on site selling its special recipe hot chocolate, in kid and adult versions, along with s’more kits. Rent skates for free, enjoy bonfires and community. 5 to 8 p.m.
