CAREFUL IN THE COLD – Extremely cold weather continues throughout the day, with a predicted high temperature of 8 degrees. Limit the amount of time you spend outdoors and dress appropriately for the temperature. Cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Temps will warm slightly by Thursday.

CROSS COUNTRY SKI RENTAL – While the snow sticks around, enjoy cross-country skiing with equipment rented from Irons Oaks Environmental Learning Center. Grab your family, some friends or your scout group and cruise around the frozen ground for exercise and fun. Email the genders, heights and shoe sizes of the people who need skis, along with your phone number, to [email protected]. Daily, two-day and weekly rates available.
