FLOSSMOOR HOLIDAY PARADE – See mobile holiday displays during Flossmoor’s new Holiday Lights Parade at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Flossmoor Police, Fire and Public Works departments will travel through the neighborhoods with their vehicles festively decorated. Residents not on the direct parade route can watch the festivities from temporary bleachers near Heather Hill School. Click on the map to see a larger version.
COVID-19 VACCINE EVENTS – Anyone 5 and older can get a COVID-19 vaccine, sponsored by Homewood and Flossmoor school districts. A vaccine clinic is open from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Normandy Villa School in Chicago Heights. Another is from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at James Hart School.
