HOLIDAY FUN IN HOMEWOOD - Village of Homewood hosts Miracle on Martin, a holiday event featuring caroling, tasty treats, a bonfire, carriage rides through town, and an ice sculpture walk. 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday

SEE SANTA - The Bistro on Sterling hosts a visit from Santa Claus from 1 to 3 p.m. Stop by to take pictures with the big guy.

Saturday, Sept. 24

  • Homewood Fall Fest and Chili Cook-off, noon to 9 p.m. Chili tasting is open to the public for a donation from 3 to 5 p.m. Three live music performances, plus horse-drawn wagon rides, a pumpkin patch, crafts and other activities.

Saturday, Oct. 15
