HIDDEN GEM – Some 800 runners will flood Flossmoor’s streets on Saturday morning for the Hidden Gem Half Marathon. The 13.1-mile race starts outside Infant Jesus of Prague School and loops through Flossmoor. Watch out for road closures; go online to preview the course.
FLOSSMOOR FEST – Returning this year, Flossmoor’s downtown party begins at noon Saturday. It features a variety of music and entertainment, including Jessie White Tumblers, the bands Cielito Lindo and Not My Dad, a kiddie train and Exotic Animal Show.
