Longtime trustee Perry Hoag resigns from Flossmoor board; Nelson to fill vacancy

On Friday, Aug. 27, longtime Flossmoor Trustee Perry Hoag submitted a letter of resignation from the Flossmoor Board of Trustees.

With Hoag’s resignation, Mayor Michelle Nelson is now accepting applications for individuals interested in filling the vacant trustee position.

In his resignation letter, Hoag stated, “It has been a pleasure to serve as an elected trustee for the Village of Flossmoor for the last 20-plus years. During that time, I feel that we accomplished a lot for the village. But for me, the most gratifying part of my work was getting to meet . . .
