Motorists will have to go around a section of Ridge Road from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 30, while a film crew works in the area.
Village officials said Ridge will be closed to all traffic from Dixie Highway to Ashland Avenue. Dixie Highway also will close intermittently in the downtown area during the day.
The U.S. Post Office at 1921 Ridge Road will remain open and will be accessible from the south via Gottschalk Avenue. The village noted that alternative post office locations are also available, including 1020 Park Road in Flossmoor, 19 . . .
