ECOLOGY INTERNSHIP – Middle school students can apply for Homewood Science Center’s conservation ecology-based internship program. This fall’s program centers on a community project to support Homewood Izaak Walton Nature Preserve and Homewood Science Center through scientific investigation, discovery and leadership. Saturdays, Sept. 18 to Oct. 23.
CROSSING GUARDS – The village of Flossmoor is hiring for crossing guards to help children walking to and from schools around town. Candidates must be 18 or older, pass a background check, pre-employment drug test, and have a reliable means of transportation. The job pays $25 per day.
