The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District took another step on improvements at Homewood Estates Park, and accepted a bid for repair work on the Merchants Park garage.
At its July 20 meeting, park commissioners agreed to spend $22,722 for three six-foot picnic tables, two Americans with Disabilities Act picnic tables and four six-foot benches for the new Homewood Estates Park shelter. Commissioners also approved the purchase of four aluminum 15-foot players benches for the ballfields area for $5,572.
The expenses were totaled into the $224,700 district share of the cost . . .
