BSW: Four local women open new cosmetics store in downtown Homewood

LUCKY EGG HUNT - Bring your baskets to Irwin Park on Saturday, where the bunny will be hiding eggs for children, including a few lucky eggs that offer an extra prize. The bunny will be available for photos after the hunt. The free event for H-F residents only starts promptly at 10 a.m.

Monday, July 4

  • Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Department kids parade, starting at 10 a.m. at Parker Junior High, ending in downtown Flossmoor.
  • Homewood 4th of July parade, staring at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church parking lot, 17951 Dixie Highway, south to Ridge Road, then east to Izaak Walton Nature Preserve, where there will be a community picnic.
