OUTDOOR GAMES – The Children’s Ministry at Flossmoor Community Church hosts HooRAY it’s Thursday at 6 to 7:15 p.m. All kids up to fifth grade are welcome on the lawn at FCC for games and relays. Kids younger than 5 need a caregiver present; others can be dropped off.
PET PARTY – From noon to 7 p.m. Friday, stop by a Second Anniversary Party at the Homewood Aoption Center of South Suburban Humane Society. The event features free hot dogs starting at 2 p.m., along with adoptions, merchandise and a raffle. Get a free raffle ticket by bringing a donation, including canned cat food, foil steamer pans, kitten formula, non-clumping litter and dog toys.
