CAKE WITH A COP – Stop into Portillo’s from noon to 2 p.m. and you can enjoy a slice of complimentary cake from Homewood Police Department. During Cake With a Cop, officers and other staff members will be available to answer questions and chat.

READ ABOUT PRIDE – During LGBTQ+ Pride Month in June, Flossmoor Library offers a display featuring “LGBTQ+ Reads.” It includes at least two dozen selections by a variety of authors.

ZUMBA PARTY – On June 24, get moving and shaking with H-F Racquet & Fitness at a free outdoor Zumba Party that’s open to the public. The event starts at 6 p.m. in the north end of the parking lot.
