Homewood-Flossmoor High School’s varsity baseball team won the sectional title with a 9-6 win over Lincoln-Way East Wednesday.

The team will host Providence Catholic High on Friday for the super-sectional game. A win Friday will move the team into contention for the state championship title.

On Monday, the team became IHSA Regional Champions on Monday after defeating Lockport 6-5.
