The Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce (CSCC) has announced that Tom Fagan will serve as the organization’s 2022 chair for the board of directors.
Connie Simms, the outgoing chair, recommended Fagan because of his dedication to the Chicago Southland and his vision of what the Chicago Southland Chamber should, and can, be for the region.
Fagan has been serving on the Chicago Southland Chamber Board of Directors since 2019 has served on several committees and their executive board.
Fagan is the Senior Analyst for Azavar Government Solutions and has been helping local governments maximize revenue and restore compliance at record efficiency for more than six years. In that time, he worked with over 200 municipalities to identify missed or unknown revenue streams and generate more revenue for the communities they serve.
“I am pleased to have the opportunity to serve as your chairperson for 2022,” he said. “We look forward to working with all businesses, local chambers, villages, municipalities, colleges and universities, workforce development partners, and legislative officials to ensure that we continue to be a strong Chicago Southland region.”
“The CSCC is also focused on legislative initiatives which include business expansion plans for the Southland, such as the ‘third airport,’ additional Amazon facilities and the Wind Creek Casino,” he said. “As we come out of the pandemic, I look forward to a productive and exciting 2022 for the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce.”
