MEMORIAL DAY - Monday is Memorial Day, a holiday to remember men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. It's distinguished from Veterans Day in November, which honors living former members of the military.

MARKET DAY - Homewood Farmers Market gets into full swing on Saturday, when you can shop for produce and food from local vendors. Masks required to enter. The market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 18020 Martin Ave.
