SCHOOL GARDEN – Get involved with planting the H-F High School Viking Garden at 4 p.m. behind the girls softball field, off Flossmoor Road, by the greenhouse.
GOODBYE DR. MITCHELL – Fun signs and wacky car decorations and signs are strongly encouraged when families form a parade to bid farewell to retiring Homewood School District 153 superintendent Dale Mitchell. Line up for the parade in one of two locations: 3:20 p.m. at Apollo Park South Lot, or 3:30 p.m. at St. Andrew United Methodist Church parking lot.
