Letter: Proposed fulfillment center an insult to community

Having lived in Homewood for over 50 years, I have been thankful that competent persons have stepped up to serve our Village Board, School Boards, Park District, Library, and other such positions. There has been consistent quality of life because of their commitment, and the will of the residents. They have done this work well, and for the right reasons, benefitting us all, and our property values.

Like the rest of the community, I am deeply disappointed by the proposed use of the (formerly) Calumet Country Club property for a distribution center.  . . .
