Governor announces Illinois is first state to extend full Medicaid benefits to mothers 12 months postpartum

UChicago Medicine at Ingalls – Flossmoor 19550 Governors Highway, will temporarily close its Urgent Aid location on Wednesday, Dec. 29, at 7 a.m.

The closure is due to unprecedented demand across the health care provider's network because of the recent spike in COVID-19 cases.

The health care system is consolidating services to conserve limited resources, according to Randy Neiswonger, president of UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital and Kristine Shields, director of Urgent Aid Services.
