The theme of the June edition was rejuvenation as the community emerged, quickly but cautiously, from its pandemic hibernation.

With COVID-19 case numbers falling below state-established thresholds, the restrictions that were designed to keep us as safe as possible during the winter surge were eased, then lifted.

The sense of relief was palpable as people came out to public gatherings for the first time in more than a year.

The cover feature by Carole Sharwarko was on the resumption of summer camps, those traditions of learning and summer fun for kids.
