The South Suburban Humane Society is conducting two fundraisers this week.
The Spring Fling Auction and Raffle is a fun way to support the work of SSHS and walk away with a gift of your choice. Gifts start at $5 and go up to a $100 gift certificate to Flossmoor Station. Also available are T-shirts, leggings and hats that pet lovers will want.
The online raffle runs through 10 p.m. on Friday, April 2. Access the gift options at southsuburbanhumane.org/springfling.
SSHS also is asking for donations for its Frosty Fund to help cover expensive orthopedic medical cases. The shelter has five dogs that are in immediate need of surgery after being hit by cars, shot or injured. Donations to the Frosty Fund can be made at giveffect.com.
