Students at Marian Catholic High School are grieving the loss of of Justin Young, a senior who died in a car accident last Thursday.
Young, who was a member of the football team, was remembered by Marian Principal Steve Tortorello as “a kind, quiet young man who left a lasting impression on his friends, teachers and coaches by treating everyone with respect and positivity. He will be greatly missed.”
The school held a socially distant prayer service Friday afternoon to honor the young man’s life.
Young died at the scene of a head-on accident on Governors Highway in unincorporated Rich Township. The other driver, driving without headlights, crossed the center line, according to published reports. That driver also died in the crash.
