Health officials confirm case in Chicago of the COVID-19 P.1 variant

HOLIDAY ART CONTEST - Kids from kindergarten through 12th grade can submit an original artwork for a chance to be featured on this year’s Homewood Police Department holiday card and win one of three cash prizes. Monday, July 4

  • Flossmoor Volunteer Fire Department kids parade, starting at 10 a.m. at Parker Junior High, ending in downtown Flossmoor.
  • Homewood 4th of July parade, staring at 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church parking lot, 17951 Dixie Highway, south to Ridge Road, then east to Izaak Walton Nature Preserve, where there will be a community picnic.
