Public hearing on Calumet Country Club rezoning wraps up after 4 days of questioning

The Homewood Planning and Zoning Commission will hold its fifth session at 6:30 p.m. Thursday to consider a rezoning request that is prerequisite to the development.

  • Homewood Fall Fest and Chili Cook-off, noon to 9 p.m. Chili tasting is open to the public for a donation from 3 to 5 p.m. Three live music performances, plus horse-drawn wagon rides, a pumpkin patch, crafts and other activities.
