South Suburban Humane Society is actively seeking new volunteers and fosters.
Head to the Chicago Heights location at 1103 West End Ave. for a Foster and Volunteer Open House on Sunday, Sept. 26, from 1-4 p.m. to learn about volunteer opportunities.
“We have a great need for people to come walk dogs, pet cats, answer phones…pretty much anything someone can think of, we have a volunteer opportunity for,” said Emily Klehm, CEO of SSHS.
