SUMMER ACADEMY – Online summer school registration is now open for current H-F High School students. Beginning Feb. 16, incoming freshmen can enroll in summer school and also Summer Academy, a six-week program that assists in the transition to high school.
SOME HS STUDENTS TO RETURN – Hybrid learning for about one-third of students at Homewood-Flossmoor High School is scheduled to begin March 2. Staff will return Feb. 22. A special orientation for students who have not yet attended HFHS is scheduled for Feb. 20.
DISTRICT 161 HIRING – A number of job openings are available with Flossmoor School District 161. In addition to teachers for art, science and special education, the district seeks a health coordinator, school psychologist, certified school nurse and school social worker.
