PET ADOPTION EVENT – South Suburban Humane Society hosts a Pet Adoption event at Flossmoor Station Restaurant. To maintain social distancing, only 20 spots are available, with one family will be allowed in at a time. The waitlist opens at 1 p.m. and the event starts at 2 p.m. Saturday.
FLOOD INSURANCE – A large portion of Flossmoor is located in the FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area. The Village of Flossmoor recommends homeowners research adding flood insurance to their property insurance policy before the winter snow melts and spring rains settle in.
