MLK DAY – Monday is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Most schools, banks and government offices will be closed.
BE THE BIRD – Contribute to the community art project “If I Were a Bird” sponsored by Homewood Science Center and Homewood Arts Council. Contribute poems, paintings, sketches, sculptures and photographs to be displayed in the windows at 2018 Ridge Rd. Last day to submit is Jan. 23.
DIY COCOA BOMBS – Teens in grades 7 to 12 can make their own Hot Chocolate Bombs with the Make it Mondays program from Homewood Library. Pick up your craft kit and bring it home to create and enjoy. Register now for this program on Feb. 8.
