A single-family home was extensively damaged by fire Friday night, according to Homewood Fire Chief Bob Grabowski.
No one was injured in the blaze in the 18500 block of Western Avenue in Homewood.

The home suffered extensive damage to the interior, roof and north wall. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Grabowski said.
